They did this to bring awareness to the Capri brand before it comes back as a crossover.

I spotted this  delightfully well used Consul Capri at an event last weekend. Probably my favourite Capri.

My dad bought a Capri when I was in High School and boy did I love that car.

SO well finished inside, and the quickest and best handling car I had ever driven at that point.  So many great times.
